Hey girls!! Just a quick update. We got a 10wk old kitten, still considering a dog as well to join the little family!! I don't really know why we think we have time for pets, but I guess we do...kinda. I'm excited we got her though, she's A LOT different from the cat I got in undergrad (that peed everywhere!). She's got a really spunky yet lovable personality, and we have only caught her peeing on some of my recycled brown bags that I put in her path of getting behind the fridge. She's definitely more time and energy than we realized though, and now are debating on the dog issue. The dog is a 6 mo old mutt, who has a little bit of everything in her. She was seemingly quite and mellow, until we took her out for a walk and she became CRAZY! I just don't know if we have time to train and care for a puppy, and a puppy with a lot of energy. I keep saying that it'll make me run more with her around, but it could also just be plain exhausting. The dog Britt got in undergrad was SOOOO much work, and I don't want another experience like that! Any thoughts?
Anyway, other than that, nothing else is really new. Gonna go wine tasting for my birthday this wknd, it's our first REAL free wknd, where we have absolutely nothing that we can study for (well, other than our board exams in May, but that's just plain crazy). Tomorrow we are learning more about rotations selections, and Brent and I met with the head honcho for rotations who said that she would do her best to keep us in the same city. She didn't guarantee PDX, but she did tell me to try for a rotation in Portland so I'd have bargaining power...we will see what happens! We are hopefully going to know our schedule by Thanksgiving...
Soo, how are you other quite ladies doing? Lena, did you end up going to SD to visit that guy, and how is all of that going?!?
Miss you all. Can't wait to (fingers crossed) see you at Thanksgiving!
Loves,
Ash
